Third day in Melbourne. Tomorrow's the wedding! ((: So cool. Heh, actually they're technically already married lah, since they've already registered their marriage. Haha, it's more of going through the whole ceremony thing then they become officially married. Chinese tradition stuffs. Haha. They just all went out to the market to buy some stuffs needed to bring over to the girl's side family later on. Apparently someone has to bring it on their behalf. Someone who's married with kids. Someone affiliated to the family. Haha, so I guess this case it's my mum. (:
And while they were all out, I stayed home with my cousin! (: And guess what both of us were doing? Haha. WATCHING TAIWAN SERIALS! Lol. She just introduced me to another show, which is like damn stupidly funny. Haha. It's called Fated to Love You. It's still ongoing though.. And I haven't watched the first part. Just simply continued from where my cousin stopped. Haha, she's as crazy about serials as me =D
And later on after they come back we'll probably head to the nearest mall. Wanted to go yesterday in the afternoon after lunch, but didn't. My mum was sick, so she was sleeping. And I was just on the computer typing emails to everyone =D That's like my mode of communication now huh, cannot reply any messages. So sad. Haha.
But nvm, hopefully someone remembers to install skype and somehow get the webcam to work today so I won't be just talking over skype ((:
Another thing. Yesterday when my cousin-in-law was driving, we drove past a Monash campus! And all of a sudden I remembered dear NICOLE DE SILVA is here in MELBOURNE, studying in MONASH! So I quickly facebook-ed her when I got home. And so coincidentally she lives near where I'm living now! My cousin's house is in Burwood. She lives at Glen Waverly or sth like that. Yippee!! ((: We didn't get to meet when she went back to Singapore, and it has been AGES since I've last seen her. So who knows... now I'm actually here in Melbourne, like I'm visiting her instead! Hahaha. So cool (:
One bad thing though. She's on CRUTCHES as well! ): Sheesh, I wonder what's with the trend with crutches. My cousin's on one. Now Nicole's also on one :/ She fell down a while ago, and it's quite bad I think. Now, she can't bring me on that shopping spree! You know what.. she only has to go to school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays?! Like that's soooo unfair. And Thursdays she doesn't even bother to go to school. Haha, what kinda shiok life is she living man... But anyway, that doesn't matter now, she can't bring me shopping either way ): But, I guess we'll still meet up for a meal or over coffee or sth. That'll be cool. She suggested Max Brener's. So we'll keep in contact and see how it goes (:
On the other hand back in Singapore.. why is everyone falling sick?! My darling was sick yesterday. Thank God he's feeling much better today or I'll be worried ): He's off to Discovery Centre for the morning... Then Adam's sick as well. This case's like BAD. He has FIELD CAMP this weekend! Like later in the evening he has to book back in already! For a 6-day field camp. Can't afford to be sick man, it's gonna be terrible in the jungle. He's resting well now, so I hope he'll be in a much better condition to book in for field camp.
Man.. I'm hungry! It's like 2.45pm here and I haven't had lunch :/ hmmmmmmm..... But thing is I've been having ALOT of food the past 2 days man... Yesterday chinese vegetarian lunch, peking duck dinner! And guess what.. it was like FIVE ducks for NINE people. So you can just imagine everybody stuffing themselves with DUCK. haha! They cooked it in 3 different ways.. First was the normal wrap kind. Second was duck cooked together with beansprouts. And third was duck soup. Haha, we were all so bloated afterwards :p Oh no, I'm getting fatter! Ahaha.
